Garrett turned one month old on June 3rd according to his "adjusted age". This refers to the age Garrett would be if he had been born on his due date. It also refers to his developmental age. Right now, Garrett looks and acts more like a one month old than a 4 1/2 month old!
This video shows a happy, content, and alert baby. It is special to us because we remember when Garrett was in the NICU and actually turned one month old. He was so tiny and fragile, his eyes were open but he was not alert, he was so still and had so many tubes.
We are enjoying having him at home and being able to take care of him 24/7. Just like most newborns, it is completely exhausting but totally worth it!!! He's fabulous!!!
