Good news and bad news!

Well...the good news is that Garrett is now pulling up!!! He has pulled up on the couch, the coffee table, his farm, and his bed. He has also walked down the couch a couple of times. I am pretty sure once he gets this "balance thing" down, he will be walking all over the place. For now, we just have to figure out how to get from his standing position to his crawling position without the dramatic fall!! (pics to follow soon)

Bad news is...Garrett has RSV. I am not sure how this happened, since we have shut ourselves up in our house, but it has happened and it is not fun! Garrett has been getting Synagis shots for the past couple of months. These shots are not a vaccine against RSV, it is just to help lessen the severity of the symptoms.
Right now Garrett is getting 2 breathing treatments with an asthma-type puffer and 6 breathing treatments with a nebulizer (sp??). He is not a huge fan of wearing the mask during the neb treatments, but we are hoping this gets better with time (and that we don't have to do it long). Garrett is having to wear his oxygen again when he sleeps, which was very difficult on Heath and I, but it is helping and that is all that matters!! Hopefully, this will all be over soon and we will get our happy boy back!

Sending Prayers!

Tessa still hasn't started pulling up yet...I am hoping and dreading the day!

We thought she had RSV last week but went in for the test (negative) and had a chest xray( nothing) so she is on some antibiotics and we are doing albuterol breathing treatments a few times a day....FUN FUN FUN!!!
