Here is a picture of us at the Urologist appointment. We thought we were going in to get Garrett's
circumcision done, but found out that it was just a consult. He was too small to have it done in the
NICU, but is now too big to have it done in an office. It is now going to be a surgery and we (and the doctors) are hoping that he doesn't have to stay overnight! We will be getting it done in October or first of November.
This is when Garrett looks the biggest...when he is practicing standing up. He is now weighing in at 12 lbs and 9 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long (one pound and one inch bigger than his last appointment one month ago).

As Garrett's
PaPa says, "So Big".

Practicing sitting up on the couch.

This is my happy boy...and the smile that lights up the world!

Garrett is eating between 4-6 oz in the morning after sleeping all night. He takes about 4 oz every 3 hours the rest of the day.

Last year, on August 29
th, Heath and I realized that we were pregnant. This year, on August 29
th, we visited Durant to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday! We had a great day just being with the Grandparents and playing!

Laying on the couch and playing. Garrett has also started "talking"! I
could've sworn he said "
da da" the other day...but he has a beautiful babble!!

Wearing his "graphic tee", or in this case "graphic
onesie". He never has to wonder in what year he was born!

Here is Garrett practicing sitting up, but at his Aunt Melissa, Uncle Jack, and cousin Conner's house. We went to visit their house the other day for the first time. We are all looking forward to the day when Garrett and Conner are running around and playing together! What fun...

We visited the
pulmonolgist and Garrett has made good progress. However, we will still be on the oxygen for another month. Hopefully, if Garrett's lungs look good and have a little less fluid on them, we will be able to say good-bye to the oxygen.
We were also told that cold and flu season has begun early and is very strong...so the doctors advice was to "keep Garrett away from people". Guess we will hibernate in our cave til spring!
