We took Garrett to the pulmonolgist for a check up yesterday. He weighed in at 14 lbs 2 1/2 oz and was 24 inches long!! The doctor said that Garrett was looking and sounding great (as he listened to him breathing). Garrett only wears his oxygen now at night when he sleeps and when we travel, but most of the time it is turned off in the car.
So, the doctor told us that if it were summer he would just take Garrett off the O2. However, with the cold weather approaching and cold/flu season being so bad this year, he has ordered Garrett to undergo a sleep study. He wants to check out his breathing routine while he sleeps in order to keep small issues from getting worse during the winter.
We haven't scheduled the sleep study yet, but we know it will be before Nov. 16th (our next pulmonolgy appointment). Garrett will also start receiving RSV shots in Nov. Doing anything, and everything, we can to keep him healthy and away from the hospital!!!

Keep him in hiding this winter!! The flu is sooo bad right now around here! Hopefully the Synagis will keep him protected and boost his immune system!! He is getting soooo big and is just too stinkin cute!! I love that smile!
