Saying good-bye

So, we had our 6 month evaluation with the ladies of ECI (early childhood intervention) on Monday. We have met with a speech therapist, who worked with Garrett on his eating skills, and an occupational therapist, who worked on Garretts motor skills, twice a month for the past year. These two ladies, along with our case specialist, have been a wonderful source of ideas and encouragement as we try to help Garrett catch up to his age group!!

However, when the evaluation was over...we learned that Garrett has met and exceeded a lot of the goals we set!!! We will no longer be meeting with our friends, but will acquire a new friend to help us catch up in the area of cognitive development (the thinking behind the skills/more of the creative side).

Few random pics - Garrett reaching up and touching the top of the table!
Playing at his music table (which he totally adores):
Rolling his alligator on the window sill...which has a "fun" little squeak that Garrett loves:
We are still in awe and amazed at the progress that Garrett is making. We serve a compassionate and might God...even the therapist were amazed that they were dismissing a 25 weeker after only one year of service!!! Praise the Lord!!
