This weekend was SOSU homecoming and the BSU/BCM reunion. I got to go home and see some friends I went to college with and we got to take Garrett to his first football game. They have started a new tradition by having the band play outside the stadium before the game and then the football team down the sidewalk and into the stadium. They were very sweet to give a high 5 to the kids as they walked by. Garrett LOVED it!!
As we walked in, Garrett was able to see the marching band instruments up close and he actually got to touch the tuba (that and the drums are his favorite). Then we sat down to watch. Since the game started at 2, we only stayed for the first quarter, but Garrett had a blast! Thanks to our friend Amy Ford, Garrett cheered on the Savage Storm with a fun foam finger!!
Great fall day watching football and spending time with family!!
