Let me preface this post by apologizing for my lack of photography skills!! I took all of these pics on my phone and none of them are that great. However, they are too cute to not share!!
Garrett's school does a school wide Texas day where we dress up as cowboys/cowgirls and get to play fair-type games (lasso a horse, throw bean bags in cowboy hats, etc). Garrett got a chance to wear his cowboy boots that Clay and Katie got him for his birthday. He was excited to wear them to school even though they are still a little too big. It was funny to watch him walk around because he is used to walking on his tip toes and the boots don't allow him to do that!!
Here we are at school in front of the pumpkin patch. My teaching partner took the pictures and asked Garrett to say "Yee-Haw". He had to use his lasso as well!!
Here is one of us both smiling...even though Garrett isn't looking at the camera.
Garrett enjoyed Texas Day at school and said "Yee-Haw" all afternoon! I got a chance to sneak in and watch him ride the rocking horses. He was going to town bouncing up and down to the music. Funniest part was watching him bounce in and out of his boots! After about 4-5 bounces, he would loose his boots every time. This is the main reason I packed his tennis shoes for the remainder of the school day!
