Well...yesterday was an adventure to say the least!! We arrived at the imaging building a little before 1...sat down to register at 2...were called back for the x-ray at 2:30...made our way to the other building where the doctor's office was located...sat down for more paperwork...got our x-ray done at around3:30!
Good thing is, we got it finished and don't have to go back to this particular doctor!! However, Garrett is going to be getting a helmet, or band, soon. The x-rays showed that his bones were still not fused together, which means we do not have to undergo surgery to help fix his flat spot. Our next goal is to make an appointment with the company that makes the helmets and get our head fitted.
We are praying that Garrett can come off the oxygen before his helmet is ready!! It just doesn't seem like it would be too comfortable having both on his face/head at one time! God has a perfect plan and I just have to focus on that!! THANKS

Sorry you had such a trying time! But at least no surgery! That is a blessing!! Good luck with the helmet, they are not that bad, you can decorate them and make cute too!
Hey Carla, this is Christy (Norman). My little boy Kasen had to wear one of the DOC bands (or helmet). It really wasn't that bad at all.
