Special birthday guest

Considering we spent 4 months in the NICU, we developed a special relationship with the nurses there. Garrett's primary night nurse was coming through Allen on her way to her in-laws house in Corsicana. Being that close, she decided to stop by. It was great to get to see Amber again, and it was a privilege to meet her husband Matt.

We weren't sure how Garrett would react since he hadn't seen Amber in almost 8 months, but it amazing because it seemed like he remembered her!!!

We aren't sure where he gets it or why he does it...but he has this little "snarl" he does these days. We make jokes that he is channeling his inner Elvis!!

Thanks for stopping by to visit and help Garrett celebrate his birthday. She, and Matt, were both surprised at how big Garrett has gotten and by how wonderful he looks. We hope to see them both more often!!
