Rosemary and baby boy Talkington are doing well. They were able to stop the contractions and get most things under control. They will be doing another evaluation on her and the baby sometime on Monday...from there they will figure out how long hospital bed rest will take and if/when they might be able to go home (but still be on bed rest). Thank you so much for the prayers, but continue to lift up the family as they are still in a state of limbo!!
Now, on to the question I am asked about 3 times each day...what are you doing for Garrett's first birthday?? Yes, we are now on countdown to Garrett's first birthday (6 days) and we do intend on celebrating. However, since we are still in the midst of cold/flu/RSV season and since Garrett is not at a develpmental age to eat/enjoy cake, we are going small for his FIRST first birthday. Garrett's grandparents will be coming over for lunch and cake on Saturday, but we are planning on having a SECOND first birthday in the spring. That way Garrett will be able to enjoy cake for the first time and he will be able to celebrate with all of those who have prayed for him in Allen, Durant, and Sulphur Springs!!! We look forward to the spring when we can introduce Garrett to the world!! : )
