Garrett went to the Cardiologist last Friday. They did an EKG and an Echo cardiogram. Both showed that Garrett's heart is doing very well and we were told that we didn't have to come back unless something new showed up!!
We went to the Pediatrician on Monday for Garrett's 6 month wellness visit and shots. Garrett got some blood work done and he is doing well in that area. The doctor said that he is about a 3 1/2 - 4 month old according to his development, which was great news since he is just about to be a 3 month old according to his adjusted age! His doctor predicts that Garrett's adjusted age and true age will be the same at about 18 months...which is ahead of schedule (most preemies catch up by age 2).
We have officially switched completely to formula! I loved being able to provide food for Garrett while in the hospital because that was the only thing that no one else in the hospital could do. The doctors and nurses took care of Garrett 24/7, but that was something I was responsible for. Once we got home...it was more difficult to fit in time to pump and take care of Garrett's needs! But he is doing good and transitioned nicely.
Yesterday was our Anniversary...Garrett's Granna (Heath's mom) was in town taking care of Conner, so she offered to come over last night to watch Garrett while we went out to dinner. Benihana's was delicious, but the best gift came later!! Garrett slept through the night for the first time!!!!!!! I would wake up every 45 minutes to an hour to make sure he wasn't lying awake in his bed, but he slept the whole time!! We aren't sure if this was just an anniversary gift or if maybe this will happen more often? Either way, it was fabulous! (pictures to come soon)

Happy Anniversary!! And good news too!! That is great!! It always feels good to check a dr off the list!! And way to go Garrett for sleeping all night!! Super cool!!
