I've gotten a few emails asking "What does that piece of paper hanging from Garrett's car seat say?" Those of you who have kids can attest to the fact that EVERYONE touches new babies. Complete strangers at Target, the grocery store, a restaurant, etc. feel the need to put their hands all over new babies. Now, I am just as guilty as the next person at touching babies...but I make sure my hands are clean and make sure I at least know the people before hand!
So...in an effort to keep random strangers from passing along their germs to my child, I made a sign which says:
Please don’t touch!!!!
You can talk, smile, wave, and even sing if you want…but please don’t touch!! I was born premature and my immune system is still weak! Thanks for helping me stay out of the hospital!
The clip art doesn't transfer to the blog, but the sign has been WONDERFUL!! It helps keep peoples hands off Garrett without me having to say a word!

Wonderful idea!! Keep that baby safe and germ free!!
It's been a while since I've gotten to read the blog and look at all the wonderful pictures! What a blessing to see Garrett's progress!
Yes, signs are nice. That was always awkward trying to nicely tell people not to touch. Good seeing you the other day.
That was a really nice way to say that! Good idea, Momma!! We'll have to get together soon...maybe the first day of school? haha!
