Another infection bites the dust!

First...Happy 2-Month Birthday to the Gman!!!

This will be a short update, but wanted to share this awesome praise! Carla and I went by to see Garrett last night. Actually Carla made it there before I did. Uncle Jack and I were putting up the chair rail in Garrett's nursery. But Gman got his last round of antibiotics yesterday afternoon. Amber showed us how the blood tests looked much better indicating that the infection was gone. So this is great news. He should be able to get his IV out of his arm soon which will be great because he loves to move his arms around.

Also, the doctor told Carla over the weekend that he would like to try the cpap again early this week. We will pray that Garrett's skin/nose will hold up and not break down like before. The cpap mask just producing a lot of moisture around his nose, so last time is caused his skin on the inside of his nose to break down.

Carla got to help give him a bath again last night with Amber the nurse. Janet and the "Durant Moms" are coming this weekend to paint the nursery for Garrett so we will take pictures of that and post them as soon as we can.

Thanks again for your continued prayers and support. We could not do this without our Lord and Provider and without each of our family and friends who have stood besides us over the last two months!
