Here are some pictures from today. A cute little sleeping baby! Here he is sucking on his purple paci.

Here you can see him sleeping with his purple paci. The little circle you see between his eye and his ear is just a pad that they use to tape the canula down with.

The flash is a little bad on this one, but it shows his hair! He has had little bit of a rough afternoon. He had his next eye exam today and his allergies appear to be bothering him. So they have his oxygen percentage on his canula turned up pretty high to keep him in the right range for his vital stats. Michelle, his primary day nurse, said that she thinks that Garrett just is trying to recover from the stress of the eye exam and feeding for the first time yesterday. So we will see how things go. If things don't improve we may have to go back to cpap, but things could be a lot worse.

Here is a pictures from the other day (I think Wednesday) when Carla held Garrett for over an hour. He is bundled up in two blankets, but you can see that he is getting bigger! He was still on the cpap at this time, so that is the blue tubes you see.

Here is a picture just a few minutes later. I got to hold Garrett for like 45-minutes after Carla held him. I could tell that he was heavier. He made my arm go to sleep. The nurse said that I can move him around. But of course I was like...I don't want to mess up, so I just didn't move.
This is a picture of Garrett in his onesie that Carla got him. It says little squirt on the left top with a whale on it. Then on his rear it has a large whale!

He is absolutely precious! And the nursery looks great! They did a great job!
Wonderful pictures! He looks bigger and stronger. I know you all can hardly wait till you can hold him without all the tubes, etc., but what a blessing all those tubes are right now!
