So it's Sunday afternoon and Carla is doing great! She has gotten out of bed and had a shower. She is completely disconnected from all IVs and gadgets. The OB doctor came in mid-morning and said she was shocked, but happy with how well Carla was recovering. The OB doctor said that with how much Carla's blood pressure, etc has returned to a normal level is confirmation that it was the right decision to take Garrett when they did.
Things with Garrett are good! Pretty all the same information. Blood pressure is doing fine. The doctors have said that nothing that is unexpected has happened with him. This afternoon Carla was able to go visit him via a wheelchair. This was the first time for Carla to visit Garrett except for the quick stop by when she went from Labor & Delivery Recovery to her post-partum room. I asked if she really remembered that quick stop and she said not really.
Aunt KK (Carlas sister) is Garretts favorite. She calls him Gar-bear. He is going to be a soccer player so they will hang out all the time. And, yes, Kristen swiped the computer to add her 2 cents worth.

Dear Carla & Family-
It was absolutely wonderful seeing the pictures of your present from heaven. I needed to let you and your husband know how excited we for you both,(& yes of course the wonderful grandparents and other close family) that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers daily. A very wise friend told me something, quite a long time ago, that has stayed with me, and I would like you to have it, because it brought me such peace. She said, very simply, "Roben, this is your present from God & God doesn't make mistakes!"
